Trama: Due bande di ballerini _ i Beat Street Breakers e i Rokers _ si contendono il primato territoriale. In mezzo c'è un terzetto: due fratelli di colore e il bianco Ramon, artista dei graffiti. Break-dance, musica rap, graffiti murali, ovvero la cultura portoricana che s'innesta e cresce nel contesto urbano del South Bronx a New York. Il film, coprodotto da Harry Belafonte, conta per questo aspetto semidocumentaristico più che per la storia.
