Trama: Cameron Vale è un disadattato che vive ai margini della società a causa di gravi disturbi psichici. Una grande multinazionale lo raccoglie e lo inserisce nel programma Ripe dell'industria di armamenti Consec. Scopo del programma è quello di creare degli scanner, degli esseri dotati di poteri telepatici e capaci di agire sulle capacità psichiche altrui. A Cameron verrà affidato il compito di fermare Revok, uno scanner spietato che ha deciso di impadronirsi del potere.
